Amber is a resin fossilized from pine and coniferous trees, thousands to millions of years old. It is also known as ‘electron’ and is found mainly in the Baltic region. Although it is not a stone, but hardened resin, it is used as a gemstone for jewellery and other decorative objects. Avoid cleaning using alcohol and any form of alcoholic product.
