Mastic, also known as Sudurus or Misketa, is a material made in Persia. It is a mixture of old-cut amber (1920–1940) and other substances such as bakelite, rosin, and turpentine. It is quite impact-resistant compared to amber and considerably heavier. Although it is not 100% amber, it holds comparable value due to the age and rarity of the authentic material.
