Rhodonite is a manganese inosilicate in rosy pink color. It got its name from the Greek word “rhodos” which means “rose”. It is characterized by black lead veins which justify its weight. It is believed to restore physical energy, boost self-confidence, benefit those in mental distress and give an aura of elegance. It is found in the Urals, New Zealand, Japan, South Africa and Italy.
