Royal amber is one of the most distinctive and rare varieties of Baltic amber, originating from fossilized tree resin aged between 30 and 90 million years. It is distinguished by its opacity and its soft, often buttery texture, with a matte or slightly polished surface that gives it a subtle, velvety appearance.
Its color ranges from light cream and off-white to soft yellowish tones. It is a lightweight material, warm to the touch, with a uniform structure and natural grain or subtle striations. As a softer material compared to other types of amber, it is natural for it to show minor surface imperfections, while any cracks or fracture surfaces are entirely natural characteristics and not defects, but rather indications of authenticity.
On a symbolic level, it is believed to be associated with purity of energy and inner calm, while traditionally it is attributed properties related to tranquility, protection, and a connection to the past. It has been used over time in worry beads and amulets, forming part of a tradition that links it to the absorption of negative influences.
Its collectible and commercial value is particularly high, as lighter-colored varieties are rarer, and each piece is unique, with no possibility of exact replication in nature.
For its proper preservation, it is recommended to avoid prolonged exposure to strong sunlight, as well as the use of alcohol or chemical cleaners. Cleaning should be done with a soft, dry cloth, while storage is ideally in a protective case, without contact with other hard materials, due to its delicate nature.

Crafted with respect for tradition and a refined attention to detail, this komboloi embodies the quality, authenticity, and understated elegance that define the philosophy of KAHRAMAN.
