Amber is a fossilized resin from pines and other conifers several thousands to millions of years old. Although it is not a stone, but a hardened resin, it is used as a gemstone for the manufacture of jewelry and other decorative objects. Due to its beneficial properties it has been treasured as one of the most popular gemstones since ancient times.
Inclusions, fractures, and surface cracks are natural features and should not be considered as damage.
Avoid cleaning with alcohol or any kind of alcohol-based product.
