Amber is a fossilized resin from pines and other conifers, several thousand to millions of years old. Although it is not a stone, but a hardened resin, it is used as a gemstone for jewellery and other decorative objects. Due to its beneficial properties it has been treasured as one of the most popular gemstones since ancient times.
Pressed amber is the material created by compressing amber powder and fragments collected during the processing of pure amber. It is cheaper, heavier and slightly more durable.
Avoid cleaning with any alcohol-based products.
Note:
Careful use of the worry beads is recommended. Natural lines, pores, or subtle surface irregularities are inherent characteristics of the material and highlight its authenticity.
