Amber is a natural fossilized resin of coniferous trees, formed over millions of years. It is also known as “electron” and is primarily found in the Baltic region. It is an organic material of plant origin, widely used in the creation of jewelry and decorative objects.
During the natural flow of the resin, microorganisms or insects may become trapped within it. In such cases, its commercial value increases due to the rarity and distinctive character of the inclusion.
In traditional use and crystal healing practices, amber is associated with a sense of well-being, reduced tension, and inner balance. It is particularly known for being worn as a necklace close to the neck, where it is believed to be linked to supporting thyroid function, due to the presence of succinic acid and trace elements such as iodine. It has also been traditionally associated with anti-inflammatory properties and the overall support of the body.
The properties attributed to amber are based on tradition and empirical use and do not constitute scientifically established therapeutic properties.

Note:
Careful use of the komboloi is recommended. Natural lines, pores, or subtle surface irregularities are inherent characteristics of the material and confirm its authenticity.
