(jade) Nephrite is a variety of actinolite, it has a hardness of 6, a specific gravity of 2.95 and crystallizes in the monoclinic crystal system. It is used to make carvings, sculptures and ornamental objects. Its name is derived from Greek and its Latin name “lapis nephriticus” means “stone for the kidneys”.

Careful use of the worry beads is recommended. Natural lines, pores, or subtle surface irregularities are inherent characteristics of the material and highlight its authenticity.
The cord may wear over time with use, especially in komboloi made from stones or heavier materials. This wear is normal and can be easily restored through replacement.
