Rhodonite is a manganese silicate mineral, distinguished by its characteristic pink to deep rose colour, often crossed by black veins of manganese oxides. Its name derives from the Greek word “rhodon”, meaning rose.
It is found in various parts of the world, including Russia, Australia, and Brazil, and is widely used in jewellery making as well as in the creation of decorative objects.
According to traditional crystal healing, rhodonite is regarded as a stone associated with emotional balance, forgiveness, and the cultivation of love and compassion.
All minerals used in the creation of our komboloi are, in most cases, gemstones traditionally selected for jewellery making. For this reason, this particular komboloi is recommended to be used with care. Inclusions, cracks and breakage surfaces are a natural phenomenon and should never be associated with wear and tear.
