Amber is fossilized tree resin, primarily derived from coniferous trees, formed over thousands to millions of years. Also known as “electron,” it is predominantly found in the Baltic region. Although not a mineral, but a natural resin that has hardened over time, it is highly valued as a precious material in the creation of jewelry and decorative objects.
It is distinguished by its warm tones, ranging from golden-yellow to deep honey, and its subtle luster. Lightweight and smooth to the touch, it embodies a refined natural character and timeless elegance.
Pressed amber is the material created by compressing amber powder and fragments collected during the processing of pure amber. It is cheaper, heavier and slightly more durable.
Avoid cleaning with any alcohol-based products.
