Amazonite is a usually opaque, greenish-blue mineral. Πήρε το όνομα του από τον ποταμό Αμαζόνιο όπου It took its name from the Amazon River where it was first found in 1850. Its copper content determines its colour, which varies from turquoise, blue, blue or pinkish-yellow.
